John F. Vodopia
PRINCIPAL
John F. Vodopia, the firm’s principal attorney, began working in electrical and computer engineering in 1981, for example, in building and testing aircraft antennas, as a team player in the development and deployment of underwater navigation systems, signal processing systems and airborne radar systems. He made the transition from engineering to intellectual property law in 1989, after completing his first year in a 4-year night program at New York Law School. His experience includes over 12-years of experience with Intellectual Property (IP) Law Firms, 6-years of experience in-house as IP counsel, and then another 8 years as a manager of his firm John F Vodopia PC, where he thrives on problem-solving for independent inventors, start-ups and established technology companies. His practice includes not just patent and trademark prosecution, but litigation and transactional work as well.
